In Tuesday's league outing, the host Academy for Classical Education Gryphons soccer squad scored a tight 7-0 victory over the Washington County Golden Hawks.

The Gryphons (7-4) will now prepare for their outing against East Laurens (East Dublin, GA). The Falcons go into the 1A D-I Area 2 outing with a 5-7 record. In their last outing, East Laurens got by Bleckley County (Cochran, GA), 5-4, in a league outing.

Next up, the Golden Hawks play the Lincoln County Red Devils (Lincolnton, GA) in a non-league outing, on Wednesday, April 2. Washington County will attempt to improve on its 0-9 season record. The Red Devils go into the outing with a 8-3 record after their 7-1 league loss to Lake Oconee Academy (Greensboro, GA).
