Des Moines North Polar Bears (Des Moines, IA) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the host St. Edmond Gaels (Fort Dodge, IA), 10-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Des Moines North moves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Polar Bears travel to Roland-Story (Story City, IA) to meet the Norsemen in a non-league test on Monday, April 14. The Norsemen come into the test with a record of 1-0.
The Gaels now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host Sioux City North for a non-league test on Thursday, April 3.
