Fans at Tuesday's league battle between the Pope John Paul II Knights (Hendersonville, TN) and the visiting Lipscomb Academy Mustangs (Nashville, TN), saw Pope John Paul II's soccer squad knock off Lipscomb Academy by a count of 3-0.

The Knights (3-3) will now prepare for their battle against Father Ryan (Nashville, TN). The Irish enter the D II-AA Middle battle with a 2-6 record. In their last battle, Father Ryan by Farragut (Knoxville, TN), 4-0, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Mustangs battle the Green Hill Hawks (Mt. Juliet, TN) in a non-league battle, on Friday, April 4. Lipscomb Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Hawks enter the battle with a 4-5 record after their 5-1 non-league win over Dickson County (Dickson, TN).
