The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Payson Longhorns (Payson, AZ) and the visiting Apache Junction Prospectors (Apache Junction, AZ), observed Payson's softball team prevail over Apache Junction by a tally of 22-0.

The Longhorns (7-5) will now prepare for their bout against Show Low (Show Low, AZ). The Cougars go into the 3A East bout with a 13-4 record. In their last bout, Show Low knocked off Tuba City (Tuba City, AZ), 32-2, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Prospectors battle the Globe Tigers (Globe, AZ) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, April 3. Apache Junction will attempt to advance on its 0-8 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 6-8 record after their 8-4 league loss to Seton Catholic (Chandler, AZ).
