The Bloomington Purple Raiders (Bloomington, IL) softball routed the visiting Prairie Central Hawks (Fairbury, IL), 8-2 in Tuesday's non-league outing.

The Purple Raiders now sport a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mahomet-Seymour for a non-league outing on Thursday, April 3. Bloomington will encounter a Bulldogs team coming off a 7-6 non-league loss to Olympia (Stanford, IL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-4.

With the loss, Prairie Central moves to 2-4 on the season. The Hawks host Monticello (Monticello, IL) to encounter the Sages in a Illini Prairie outing on Thursday, April 3. The Sages come into the outing with a record of 8-0. Monticello won 14-4 in their recent non-league outing against St. Teresa (Decatur, IL)
