In Tuesday's non-league match, the host Lafayette Generals softball team scored a tight 5-0 win over the Bryan Station Defenders.

The Generals (10-0) will now prepare for their match against Montgomery County (Mt. Sterling, KY). The Indians come into the non-league match with a 6-1 record. In their last match, Montgomery County nipped Bourbon County (Paris, KY), 8-1, in a league match.

In their next game, the Defenders confront the Harrison County Thorobreds/Fillies (Cynthiana, KY) in a non-league match, on Thursday, April 3. Bryan Station will attempt to better on its 6-2 season record. The Thorobreds/Fillies come into the match with a 16-0 record after their 10-3 league win over Pendleton County (Falmouth, KY).
