The East Peoria Raiders edged the host Normal Community Ironmen softball squad by a count of 6-5 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Raiders meet the Pontiac Indians (Pontiac, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, April 2. East Peoria will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record. The Indians enter the challenge with a 2-0 record after their 6-1 league win over Illinois Valley Central (Chillicothe, IL).
The Ironmen (0-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Tolono Unity (Tolono, IL). The Rockets enter the non-league challenge with a 7-1 record. In their last challenge, Tolono Unity edged Oakwood (Fithian, IL), 19-0, in a non-league match.
