Next, the Bears play the Abbeville Wildcats (Abbeville, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, April 2. Gueydan will attempt to upgrade on its 2-9 season record.

The Hornets (0-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Acadiana Renaissance Charter Academy (Youngsville, LA). The Eagles enter the 2A District 8 challenge with a 10-9 record. In their last challenge, Acadiana Renaissance Charter Academy overcame Highland Baptist Christian (New Iberia, LA), 17-3, in a non-league challenge.
