Delaware High School Softball - Sussex Academy gets by Indian River

The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Sussex Academy Seahawks (Georgetown, DE) and the visiting Indian River Indians (Dagsboro, DE), observed Sussex Academy's softball team get by Indian River by a tally of 6-5.
The Seahawks (4-0) will now prepare for their bout against Polytech (Woodside, DE). The Panthers go into the non-league bout with a 6-0 record. In their last bout, Polytech tipped Sussex Central (Georgetown, DE), 10-4, in a league bout.
In their next game, the Indians clash with the Caesar Rodney Riders (Camden, DE) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, April 3. Indian River will attempt to advance on its 2-1 season record. The Riders go into the bout with a 1-2 record after their 11-0 league loss to Cape Henlopen (Lewes, DE).
