Ohio High School Softball - Maplewood bounces Jefferson Area

April 1, 2025: Jefferson, OH 44047

In Tuesday's non-league match, the visiting Maplewood Rockets softball team scored a tight 11-6 victory over the Jefferson Area Falcons.

The Rockets (4-0) will now prepare for their match against Mathews (Vienna, OH). The Mustangs go into the Northeastern Athletic match with a 1-1 record. In their last match, Mathews tipped Lordstown (Warren, OH), 24-0, in a league match.

In their next game, the Falcons battle the Lakeside Dragons (Ashtabula, OH) in a Chagrin Valley - Lake match, on Wednesday, April 2. Jefferson Area will attempt to better on its 0-2 season record. The Dragons go into the match with a 0-1 record after their 14-4 non-league loss to Kirtland (Kirtland, OH).
