The Lake Park Lancers overwhelmed the visiting Letcher County Central Cougars softball squad by a count of 8-0 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Lancers meet the East Carter Raiders (Grayson, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, April 1. Lake Park will attempt to upgrade on its 6-0 season record. The Raiders go into the challenge with a 9-1 record after their 6-2 non-league win over Padua Franciscan (Parma, OH).
The Cougars (5-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Parkersburg South (Parkersburg, WV). The Patriots go into the non-league challenge with a 7-2 record. In their last challenge, Parkersburg South was routed by Rowan County (Morehead, KY), 15-0, in a non-league challenge.
