In Tuesday's non-league test, the Olympia Spartans (Stanford, IL) softball squad got by the host Mahomet-Seymour Bulldogs (Mahomet, IL), by a tally of 7-6.
Next, the Spartans clash with the Tremont Turks (Tremont, IL) in a non-league test, on Thursday, April 3. Olympia will attempt to advance on its 4-2 season record. The Turks go into the test with a 0-4 record after their 10-0 non-league loss to Lincoln (Lincoln, IL).
The Bulldogs (3-4) will now prepare for their test against Bloomington (Bloomington, IL). The Purple Raiders go into the non-league test with a 4-2 record. In their last test, Bloomington held off Prairie Central (Fairbury, IL), 8-2, in a non-league test.
