With the triumph, McDowell upgrades its record to 2-0 on the year. The Trojans travel to Elliott County (Sandy Hook, KY) to play the Lions in a non-league game on Wednesday, April 2. The Lions enter the game with a record of 4-10. Elliott County lost 18-2 in their recent non-league game against Montini Catholic (Lombard, IL)

The Hawks now own a 6-4 record. They play next when they travel to York for a non-league game on Wednesday, April 2. Pike County Central will play a Dukes squad coming off a 13-5 non-league win over Mason County (Maysville, KY). The Dukes record now stands at 5-1.
