The Metairie Park Country Day Cajuns triumphed over the visiting St. Katharine Drexel Yellowjackets softball squad by a count of 18-0 in Tuesday's league challenge.
Next, the Cajuns play the Liberty Magnet Patriots (Baton Rouge, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, April 3. Metairie Park Country Day will attempt to upgrade on its 8-2 season record. The Patriots enter the challenge with a 4-13 record after their 18-3 league loss to Woodlawn-B.R. (Baton Rouge, LA).
The Yellowjackets (1-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Newman (New Orleans, LA). The Greenies enter the 2A District 10 challenge with a 7-7 record.
