In Tuesday's non-league match, the host Nestucca Bobcats softball team scored a nice 29-9 win over the Neah-Kah-Nie Pirates.
The Bobcats (1-4) will now prepare for their match against Gervais (Gervais, OR). The Cougars come into the non-league match with a 0-2 record. In their last match, Gervais Culver (Culver, OR), 0-0, in a league match.
In their next game, the Pirates battle the Portland Adventist Academy Cougars (Portland, OR) in a 3A Special District 1 match, on Tuesday, April 8. Neah-Kah-Nie will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record. The Cougars come into the match with a 1-0 record after their 14-1 non-league win over Vernonia (Vernonia, OR).
