Salisbury Hornets (Salisbury, NC) supporters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad topple the host North Rowan Cavaliers (Spencer, NC), 9-0 in a league game.

With the triumph, Salisbury improves its record to 6-6 on the year. The Hornets travel to Trinity (Trinity, NC) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league game on Wednesday, April 2. The Bulldogs enter the game with a record of 2-10. Trinity lost 11-2 in their recent league game against Wheatmore (Trinity, NC)

With the loss, North Rowan moves to 0-1 on the season.
