The Hackensack Comets (Hackensack, NJ) softball routed the visiting Ridgefield Park Scarlets (Ridgefield Park, NJ), 11-1 in Wednesday's non-league outing.

The Comets now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wallington for a non-league outing on Friday, April 3. Hackensack will meet a Panthers squad coming off a 16-0 league loss to St. Mary (Rutherford, NJ). The Panthers record now stands at 0-1.

The Scarlets (0-2) will now prepare for their test against North Bergen (North Bergen, NJ). The Bruins go into the non-league test with a 1-1 record. In their last test, North Bergen was routed by Hoboken (Hoboken, NJ), 3-2, in a league test.
