The Canfield Cardinals crushed the host Archbishop Hoban Knights baseball team by a count of 8-0 in Sunday's non-league bout.
The Cardinals now possess a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they host Howland for a All-American Conference - Red bout on Monday, April 11. Canfield will face a Tigers team coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to GlenOak (Canton, OH). The Tigers record now stands at 0-2.
Next, the Knights face the Canton Central Catholic Crusaders (Canton, OH) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, April 12. Archbishop Hoban will attempt to move on its 4-3 season record. The Crusaders enter the bout with a 1-3 record after their 12-2 non-league win over Lake Center Christian (Hartville, OH).
