The St. Joseph Cadets softball team (Trumbull, CT), was routed 8-5 in Sunday's non-league test with the host Mount St. Dominic Academy Lions (Caldwell, NJ)

Coming up next, the Lions clash with the Nutley Maroon Raiders (Nutley, NJ) in a Super Essex test, on Monday, April 11. Mount St. Dominic Academy will attempt to improve on its 1-0 season record.

The Cadets (2-2) will now prepare for their test against Stamford (Stamford, CT). The Black Knights come into the Fairfield County test with a 2-2 record. In their last test, Stamford was routed by Darien (Darien, CT), 5-4, in a league test.
