In Sunday's non-league contest, the Ramapo Raiders (Franklin Lakes, NJ) softball team held off the visiting St. Joseph Cadets (Trumbull, CT), by a margin of 4-3.
With the triumph, Ramapo moves its record to 2-0 on the year. The Raiders host Indian Hills (Oakland, NJ) to play the Braves in a Big North contest on Wednesday, April 13. The Braves go into the match with a record of 4-2. Indian Hills lost 5-4 in their recent non-league match against DePaul Catholic (Wayne, NJ)
With the loss, St. Joseph moves to 2-2 on the season. The Cadets travel to Mount St. Dominic Academy (Caldwell, NJ) to face the Lions in a non-league match on Sunday, April 10. The Lions go into the match with a record of 0-0.
