The Weddington Warriors baseball team scored 10 runs and limited the host Charlotte Latin Hawks to 0 in the Warriors non-league victory on Monday.
The Warriors (12-4) will now prepare for their match against East Mecklenburg (Charlotte, NC). The Eagles go into the non-league match with a 8-9 record. In their last match, East Mecklenburg was overwhelmed by Sun Valley (Monroe, NC), 4-3, in a non-league match.
The Hawks (2-9) will now prepare for their match against Porter Ridge (Indian Trail, NC). The Pirates go into the non-league match with a 9-7 record. In their last match, Porter Ridge was overwhelmed by South Mecklenburg (Charlotte, NC), 14-4, in a non-league match.
