The Dodgeville Dodgers crushed the host Riverdale Chieftains baseball team by a tally of 17-2 in Monday's non-league bout.
The Dodgers now hold a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Belleville for a non-league bout on Tuesday, April 11. Dodgeville will face a Wildcats team coming off a 4-1 non-league loss to Pecatonica (Blanchardville, WI). The Wildcats record now stands at 0-1.
Next, the Chieftains face the Mineral Point Pointers (Mineral Point, WI) in a Southwest Wisconsin Activities bout, on Tuesday, April 11. Riverdale will attempt to advance on its 0-3 season record. The Pointers enter the bout with a 1-2 record after their 17-7 league loss to Fennimore (Fennimore, WI).
