The East Brunswick Bears baseball team scored 12 runs and limited the visiting Piscataway Chiefs to 3 in the Bears league victory on Monday.

The Bears (3-1) will now prepare for their match against South Plainfield (South Plainfield, NJ). The Tigers go into the non-league match with a 1-2 record. In their last match, South Plainfield was overwhelmed by East Brunswick (East Brunswick, NJ), 9-3, in a non-league challenge.

With the defeat, Piscataway falls to 2-2 on the season. The Chiefs travel to Spotswood (Spotswood, NJ) to battle the Chargers in a Greater Middlesex - Blue challenge on Thursday, April 13. The Chargers come into the challenge with a record of 4-0.
