The Fairbury Jeffs baseball team (Fairbury, NE), was overwhelmed 10-0 in Monday's non-league outing with the visiting Maxwell Wildcats (Maxwell, NE)
The Wildcats now hold a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Central City/Fullerton/Centura for a non-league outing on Monday, April 10. Maxwell will confront a Kernels team coming off a 5-4 non-league win over Wahoo/Bishop Neumann/Lincoln Lutheran (Wahoo, NE). The Kernels record now stands at 6-3.
Next, the Jeffs confront the Louisville Lions (Louisville, NE) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, April 11. Fairbury will attempt to advance on its 3-8 season record. The Lions go into the outing with a 2-8 record after their 5-3 non-league loss to Omaha Central (Omaha, NE).
