Spectators at Monday's non-league battle between the Hollins Royals (St. Petersburg, FL) and the host Tarpon Springs Spongers (Tarpon Springs, FL), saw Hollins's baseball squad knock off Tarpon Springs by a count of 13-2.

Coming up next, the Royals play the Boca Ciega Pirates (Gulfport, FL) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, April 11. Hollins will attempt to move on its 11-6 season record. The Pirates enter the battle with a 3-15 record after their 12-2 non-league loss to Manatee (Bradenton, FL).

The Spongers now possess a 3-16 record. They take the field next when they host Countryside for a 6A District 10 battle on Tuesday, April 11. Tarpon Springs will play a Cougars squad coming off a 6-3 non-league win over Anclote (Holiday, FL). The Cougars record now stands at 10-8.
