The Shawnee Indians got by the visiting New Bremen Cardinals baseball team by a count of 4-3 in Monday's non-league bout.
The Indians now possess a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they host Bath for a Western Buckeye bout on Tuesday, April 11. Shawnee will face a Wildcats team coming off a 5-4 non-league win over Jefferson (Delphos, OH). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-1.
Next, the Cardinals face the St. John's Bluejays (Delphos, OH) in a Midwest Athletic bout, on Tuesday, April 11. New Bremen will attempt to move on its 5-2 season record. The Bluejays enter the bout with a 1-2 record after their 7-0 non-league loss to Otsego (Tontogany, OH).
