Northwest Cabarrus Trojans (Concord, NC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the host Robinson Bulldogs (Concord, NC), 7-6 in a non-league test.

With the win, Northwest Cabarrus upgrades its record to 9-6 on the season. The Trojans host South Rowan (China Grove, NC) to battle the Raiders in a South Piedmont 3A test on Tuesday, April 11. The Raiders come into the test with a record of 7-8. South Rowan won 7-2 in their recent non-league test against West Cabarrus (Concord, NC)

With the defeat, Robinson falls to 5-12 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Albemarle (Albemarle, NC) to battle the Bulldogs in a Yadkin Valley 1A/2A test on Tuesday, April 18. The Bulldogs come into the test with a record of 2-10. Albemarle lost 28-1 in their recent league test against Union Academy (Monroe, NC)
