The Plainfield Panthers crushed the visiting Putnam Clippers baseball team by a count of 12-0 in Monday's non-league bout.
The Panthers now possess a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Rockville for a non-league bout on Thursday, April 13. Plainfield will face a Rams team coming off a 5-4 league loss to Coventry (Coventry, CT). The Rams record now stands at 3-2.
Next, the Clippers face the Parish Hill Pirates (Chaplin, CT) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, April 12. Putnam will attempt to move on its 1-3 season record. The Pirates enter the bout with a 0-2 record after their 15-4 non-league loss to Windham (Willimantic, CT).
