Spectators at Monday's non-league battle between the South Rowan Raiders (China Grove, NC) and the host West Cabarrus Wolverines (Concord, NC), saw South Rowan's baseball squad knock off West Cabarrus by a count of 7-2.

Coming up next, the Raiders play the Northwest Cabarrus Trojans (Concord, NC) in a South Piedmont 3A battle, on Tuesday, April 11. South Rowan will attempt to advance on its 7-8 season record. The Trojans go into the match with a 9-6 record after their 7-6 non-league win over Robinson (Concord, NC).

The Wolverines (5-9) will now prepare for their match against Mooresville (Mooresville, NC). The Blue Devils go into the Greater Metro 4A match with a 9-8 record. In their last match, Mooresville edged Davie (Mocksville, NC), 10-0, in a non-league match.
