The Palatine Pirates lacrosse team scored 19 points and limited the visiting Elk Grove Grenadiers to 1 in the Pirates non-league triumph on Monday.
The Pirates (3-2) will now prepare for their game against Hoffman Estates (Hoffman Estates, IL). The Hawks enter the Mid Suburban game with a 5-1 record. In their last game, Hoffman Estates was overwhelmed by Geneva (Geneva, IL), 6-5, in a non-league game.
The Grenadiers (0-2) will now prepare for their game against Hersey (Arlington Heights, IL). The Huskies enter the Mid Suburban game with a 6-1 record. In their last game, Hersey was overwhelmed by Benet Academy (Lisle, IL), 13-10, in a non-league game.
