The Chicago University Maroons tipped the visiting Latin Romans soccer squad by a count of 2-1 in Monday's league game.
The Maroons (4-1) will now prepare for their game against Woodlands Academy (Lake Forest, IL). The Wildcats go into the Independent Schools game with a 4-0 record. In their last game, Woodlands Academy nipped Cristo Rey St. Martin (Waukegan, IL), 7-1, in a non-league game.
The Romans (0-1) will now prepare for their game against Golder (Chicago, IL). The Panthers go into the non-league game with a 2-1 record. In their last game, Golder nipped UIC College Prep (Chicago, IL), 8-0, in a league game.
