The Shelbyville Golden Bears baseball team scored 8 runs and limited the visiting Southport Cardinals to 3 in the Golden Bears non-league victory on Monday.
The Golden Bears (1-2) will now prepare for their match against Columbus East (Columbus, IN). The Olympians go into the non-league match with a 0-1 record. In their last match, Columbus East was overwhelmed by Fishers (Fishers, IN), 19-9, in a non-league match.
The Cardinals (0-2) will now prepare for their match against Lawrence Central (Indianapolis, IN). The Bears go into the non-league match with a 2-0 record.
