The Hampshire Whip-Purs lacrosse team scored 5 points and limited the visiting Jacobs Golden Eagles to 1 in the Whip-Purs league triumph on Monday.
The Whip-Purs (2-2) will now prepare for their game against Kaneland (Maple Park, IL). The Knights enter the non-league game with a 2-1 record. In their last game, Kaneland edged Dundee-Crown (Carpentersville, IL), 5-0, in a non-league game.
The Golden Eagles (0-2) will now prepare for their game against Crystal Lake Central (Crystal Lake, IL). The Tigers enter the non-league game with a 1-0 record.
