The crowd at Monday's league challenge between the Herndon Hornets (Herndon, VA) and the host George C. Marshall Statesmen (Falls Church, VA), saw Herndon's lacrosse team top George C. Marshall by a margin of 15-6.
The Hornets (4-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Yorktown (Arlington, VA). The Patriots enter the Liberty challenge with a 6-1 record. In their last challenge, Yorktown beat Washington-Liberty (Arlington, VA), 16-7, in a league challenge.
The Statesmen (3-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Langley (McLean, VA). The Saxons enter the Liberty challenge with a 3-2 record. In their last challenge, Langley was overwhelmed by McLean (McLean, VA), 9-8, in a league challenge.
