In Monday's non-league test, the visiting Northside - Jacksonville Monarchs lacrosse squad scored a tight 11-9 victory over the West Carteret Patriots.
The Monarchs now have a 1-6 record. They take the field next when they host Swansboro for a non-league test on Wednesday, April 12. Northside - Jacksonville will face a Pirates squad coming off a 14-8 non-league loss to Jacksonville (Jacksonville, NC). The Pirates record now stands at 4-5.
In their next game, the Patriots face the J.H. Rose Rampants (Greenville, NC) in a non-league test, on Thursday, April 13. West Carteret will attempt to move on its 4-9 season record. The Rampants come into the test with a 2-6 record after their 18-2 non-league loss to Athens Drive (Raleigh, NC).
