The Alpena Wildcats softball team scored 10 runs and limited the visiting Tawas Area Braves to 5 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Alpena moves its record to 1-1 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Cadillac (Cadillac, MI) to clash with the Vikings in a Big North game on Tuesday, April 25. The Vikings come into the game with a record of 0-3.
