The Andover Golden Warriors (Andover, MA) softball routed the host Shrewsbury Colonials (Shrewsbury, MA), 7-1 in Monday's non-league bout.

The Golden Warriors (1-0) will now prepare for their bout against Dracut (Dracut, MA). The Middies go into the non-league bout with a 0-0 record.

The Colonials now possess a 0-4 record. They play next when they travel to Wachusett Regional for a Mid-Wach bout on Wednesday, April 12. Shrewsbury will confront a Mountaineers squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over St. Paul (Worcester, MA). The Mountaineers record now stands at 3-0.
