The South Beloit Sobos softball team scored 11 runs and limited the visiting Ashton-Franklin Center Raiders to 1 in the Sobos non-league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, South Beloit improves its record to 3-3 on the year. The Sobos host Hiawatha (Kirkland, IL) to clash with the Hawks in a non-league game on Tuesday, April 11. The Hawks come into the game with a record of 0-4. Hiawatha lost 16-0 in their recent non-league game against Orangeville (Orangeville, IL)

In their next game, the Raiders clash with the Eastland Cougars (Lanark, IL) in a NUIC South game, on Thursday, April 13. Ashton-Franklin Center will attempt to improve on its 1-6 season record. The Cougars come into the game with a 2-3 record after their 13-1 non-league loss to Orangeville (Orangeville, IL).
