Batavia Blue Devils (Batavia, NY) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Pembroke Dragons (Corfu, NY), 18-4 in a non-league challenge.

The Blue Devils now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Eastridge for a Class A challenge on Wednesday, April 12. Batavia will battle a Lancers squad coming off a 15-0 league win over Monroe (Rochester, NY). The Lancers record now stands at 3-0.

With the loss, Pembroke falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Dragons travel to Oakfield-Alabama (Oakfield, NY) to battle the Hornets in a Class DD challenge on Wednesday, April 12. The Hornets enter the challenge with a record of 0-0.
