The Brownsburg Bulldogs (Brownsburg, IN) softball triumphed over the host Western Boone Stars (Thorntown, IN), 7-1 in Monday's non-league challenge.

The Bulldogs now own a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Westfield for a Hoosier Crossroads challenge on Tuesday, April 11. Brownsburg will face a Shamrocks squad coming off a 11-6 non-league loss to Pendleton Heights (Pendleton, IN). The Shamrocks record now stands at 3-1.

With the loss, Western Boone falls to 2-2 on the campaign. The Stars host North Montgomery (Crawfordsville, IN) to face the Chargin' Chargers in a Sagamore challenge on Wednesday, April 12. The Chargin' Chargers enter the challenge with a record of 0-2. North Montgomery lost 15-5 in their recent non-league challenge against Clinton Central (Michigantown, IN)
