The Doherty Memorial Highlanders softball team scored 2 runs and limited the host Leominster Blue Devils to 1 in the Highlanders non-league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Doherty Memorial improves its record to 3-0 on the year. The Highlanders travel to North (Worcester, MA) to clash with the Polar Bears in a Inter High game on Tuesday, April 11. The Polar Bears come into the game with a record of 0-2. North lost 17-0 in their recent league game against Burncoat (Worcester, MA)

In their next game, the Blue Devils clash with the Shepherd Hill Regional Rams (Dudley, MA) in a Mid-Wach game, on Wednesday, April 12. Leominster will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Rams come into the game with a 1-1 record after their 7-4 non-league win over Tantasqua Regional (Fiskdale, MA).
