New Mexico High School Softball - Santa Fe topped by Espanola Valley

In Monday's non-league contest, the Espanola Valley Sundevils (Espanola, NM) softball team overwhelmed the host Santa Fe Demons (Santa Fe, NM), by a margin of 18-4.

With the triumph, Espanola Valley moves its record to 5-11 on the year. The Sundevils travel to Pojoaque Valley (Pojoaque, NM) to play the Elks/Elkettes in a 4A District 2 contest on Wednesday, April 12. The Elks/Elkettes come into the contest with a record of 4-11. Pojoaque Valley lost 12-0 in their recent league contest against Los Alamos (Los Alamos, NM)

In their next game, the Demons play the St. Michael's Horsemen (Santa Fe, NM) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, April 11. Santa Fe will attempt to move on its 4-11 season record. The Horsemen come into the contest with a 5-9 record after their 18-2 league loss to Robertson (Las Vegas, NM).
