Kentucky High School Softball - Glasgow bounces Russell County

April 10, 2023: Russell Springs, KY 42642

Spectators at Monday's non-league match between the Glasgow Scotties (Glasgow, KY) and the host Russell County Lakers (Russell Springs, KY), witnessed Glasgow's softball squad tip Russell County by a count of 12-6.

The Scotties now sport a 1-3 record. They play next when they host Warren East for a District 15 match on Tuesday, April 11. Glasgow will meet a Raiders squad coming off a 5-4 non-league loss to Franklin-Simpson (Franklin, KY). The Raiders record now stands at 3-3.

With the loss, Russell County moves to 1-1 on the season. The Lakers host Campbellsville (Campbellsville, KY) to meet the Eagles in a non-league match on Wednesday, April 12. The Eagles go into the match with a record of 5-2.
