The crowd at Monday's non-league match between the La Joya Community Fighting Lobos (Avondale, AZ) and the visiting Glendale Cardinals (Glendale, AZ), saw La Joya Community's softball squad achieve victory over Glendale by a count of 20-11.

The Fighting Lobos now sport a 3-16 record. They take the field next when they travel to Canyon View for a 5A Desert West test on Tuesday, April 11. La Joya Community will encounter a Jaguars team coming off a 20-0 league win over La Joya Community (Avondale, AZ). The Jaguars record now stands at 13-5.

The Cardinals (4-13) will now prepare for their test against Buckeye (Buckeye, AZ). The Hawks come into the 5A Central Valley test with a 11-6 record. In their last test, Buckeye overcame Estrella Foothills (Goodyear, AZ), 3-1, in a non-league test.
