Littleton Tigers (Littleton, MA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Maynard Tigers (Maynard, MA), 3-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Tigers now sport a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Quabbin Regional for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 12. Littleton will face a Panthers squad coming off a 16-4 non-league loss to Montachusett RVT (Fitchburg, MA). The Panthers record now stands at 0-1.

With the loss, Maynard falls to 2-1 on the campaign. The Tigers host Tahanto Regional (Boylston, MA) to meet the Stags in a Midland-Wachusett D battle on Wednesday, April 12. The Stags go into the battle with a record of 1-0.
