West Lincoln Rebels (Lincolnton, NC) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting South Point Red Raiders (Belmont, NC), 14-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Rebels now own a 11-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Newton-Conover for a Catawba Valley Athletic 2A challenge on Tuesday, April 18. West Lincoln will face a Red Devils squad coming off a 12-0 league loss to East Burke (Connelly Springs, NC). The Red Devils record now stands at 0-10.

With the loss, South Point falls to 3-12 on the campaign. The Red raiders travel to Forestview (Gastonia, NC) to face the Jaguars in a non-league challenge on Monday, April 10. The Jaguars enter the challenge with a record of 7-5. Forestview won 13-0 in their recent league challenge against South Point (Belmont, NC)
