The Taylor Griffins softball team scored 28 runs and limited the host Summit Academy Dragons to 8 in the Griffins non-league triumph on Monday.
With the triumph, Taylor moves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Griffins host Allen Park (Allen Park, MI) to clash with the Jaguars in a Downriver game on Wednesday, April 12. The Jaguars come into the game with a record of 3-0. Allen Park won 7-4 in their recent non-league game against Flat Rock (Flat Rock, MI)
In their next game, the Dragons clash with the Thurston Eagles (Redford, MI) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, April 18. Summit Academy will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record.
