The Buckeye Bucks baseball team scored 11 runs and limited the visiting Black River Pirates to 1 in the Bucks non-league victory on Wednesday.

The Bucks (6-2) will now prepare for their match against Bay (Bay Village, OH). The Rockets go into the Great Lakes Conference match with a 4-3 record. In their last match, Bay ran past Elyria Catholic (Elyria, OH), 8-2, in a league match.

The Pirates (0-2) will now prepare for their match against Dalton (Dalton, OH). The Bulldogs go into the non-league match with a 4-4 record. In their last match, Dalton was overwhelmed by Hillsdale (Jeromesville, OH), 9-4, in a league match.
