The Hawthorne Bears baseball team scored 14 runs and limited the visiting Paterson Charter School for Science and Technology Lions to 0 in the Bears league victory on Wednesday.
The Bears (1-2) will now prepare for their match against Midland Park (Midland Park, NJ). The Panthers go into the non-league match with a 3-1 record. In their last match, Midland Park was overwhelmed by Emerson (Emerson, NJ), 7-6, in a league match.
The Lions (0-4) will now prepare for their match against Glen Rock (Glen Rock, NJ). The Panthers go into the NJIC - Colonial match with a 4-0 record.
