California High School Volleyball - Nevada Union tips Woodcreek

April 10, 2024: Grass Valley, CA 95945

Nevada Union Miners (Grass Valley, CA) supporters left the game in high spirits Wednesday as they observed their volleyball squad hold off the visiting Woodcreek Timberwolves (Roseville, CA), 3-2 in a non-league match.

Next up, the Miners clash with the Lincoln Fighting Zebras (Lincoln, CA) in a Foothill Valley match, on Thursday, April 11. Nevada Union will attempt to advance on its 12-6 season record. The Fighting Zebras come into the match with a 8-14 record after their 3-0 league loss to West Park (Roseville, CA).

With the loss, Woodcreek drops to 12-6 on the campaign. The Timberwolves travel to Bella Vista (Fair Oaks, CA) to clash with the Broncos in a Capital Valley Conference match on Thursday, April 11. The Broncos come into the match with a record of 7-11. Bella Vista won 3-2 in their recent league match against Inderkum (Sacramento, CA)
